"Jesus had to go throug the cross to get to us to save us". Many thoughts rushed through my mind. We couldn't reach God in our own strength or power. Jesus saw that the cross was a hard thing. Therefore it was made of cold unfeeling wet stones. I saw it as a sewer, made of stone and slime. Jesus saw us in our desperate situation with the only one way out. He chose to climb down to take us out of that place. Knowing he would have to leave Heaven, his comfort place and die to do it. .

A very powerful painting. A good illustration on God's saving grace.

Excellent work! I like that God is holding onto Jesus as He is reaching down to us. There's an extra sense of love in that.

This is so beautiful. Jesus pulled me out of a life that was sinking. Every time I look at this it reminds me how much he loves me.
I would love to have this hanging on my wall!

Larry your work affects me on several levels.I like all three of your pieces. The cross is especially poignant, for Jesus truly lifts us out of ourselves. Jesus is Savor!

I felt strongly about this from the first time I saw it. It makes me realize how we are grafted into the cross and and how narrow we feel the whole we are in really is when Jesus has hold of us. Awesome!

The position of Christ on this cross grabbed my mind and held on to it from the first time I saw. It is very moving.
